A high-powered delegation of the
Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN) led by its Vice – President,
Christian Edeh (DJ Perfect) on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 paid a
condolence visit to COSON House, located in Ikeja.
The Deejays who signed the condolence
register to honour the rub – a – dub master Ras Kimono, a member
of the board of COSON who passed on in Lagos last Sunday June 10,
2018, expressed shock over the sudden demise of the iconic reggae
star Ras Kimono whom they described as a legend in the music
industry.
Receiving them the Chairman of COSON,
Chief Tony Okoroji thanked them for their concern and requested that
they all be ready to participate in what should be a fantastic burial
arrangement being worked out between the Kimono family and COSON to
celebrate in a special way a wonderful Nigerian artiste loved by
millions across the nation.
In the team that received the DJAN
members from different states of Nigeria were COSON directors,
Richard Cole, Engr Sharon Essco Wilson, General Manager, Chinedu
Chukwuji, and other members of the management such as COSON Head of
Finance and Administration, Bernice Eriemeghe, COSON Head of
Corporate Affairs, Chibueze Okereke and COSON Head of New Media, Tolu
Balogun.
The DJAN team also took time to inspect
the magnificent COSON House and expressed their excitement that such
an edifice is now a reality in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Other Deejays present were Ajayi Sunny
(DJ Sunny Ice) from Edo, Ogungbuyi Taiwo (DJ Teazer) from Taraba,
Moses Ukamasin (DJ Pastor) from Kaduna, Joseph Ameh (DJ Cedar) from
Benue, Benni Emmanuel Guful (DJ BennyG) from Jos and DJ Vicky Lee
from Imo.
