Controversial rapper, Eedris
Abdulkareem who has a reputation for attacking his fellow artistes
again has come after pop singer, D'banj, raining abuses on him and
calling him “ an artiste with zero talent who only has razzmatazz.”
Recall that the Kennis Music act in
2012, called out D'banj and other Nigerian artistes who campaigned
for former President Goodluck Jonathan before the April polls in
2011.
Eedris came hard again on the Koko
master yesterday, while he was being interviewed by an online TV,
GoldMyne. While giving his opinion on how the Nigerian music industry
has fared over the years and his beef with Don Jazzy, the rapper who
has been out of the spotlight for so time now, took D’banj to the
dry cleaners.
Asked what he thinks of Don Jazzy, the
‘Jagajaga’ crooner replied, “I love him, and you know why I
love him? He has a drive. Don jazzy is a very talented producer who
has helped a lot of young artistes in the industry and also made a
name for himself.”
“The biggest mistake someone like
D’banj made was to be so stupid and leave Don Jazzy. You know why?
D’banj nor get talent. Na razzmatazz he get.”
Continuing, he said, “Don Jazzy has
the technical backup to produce D’banj and make him sound very
nice. I love Don Jazzy for that.”
On why he had previous beef with the
Mavin boss, Eedris recalled what Don Jazzy told Modenine that “ f
you are a rapper, your father will not be proud of you’, forgetting
that it was the rappers that actually opened the way. That’s where
I had problem with Don Jazzy.”
