Award-winning gospel artiste, Psalm
Ebube is out with a new song that heals the heart and calls for peace
in a world of crisis. The song released last week features another
singer, Asikey and is aimed at celebrating the World Humanitarian Day
which holds annually on 19th of August.
The singer who is noted for his popular
gospel hits, Kabiosi Baba and Ebube says 'One Love One World' is an
offshoot of his foundation, Psalm Ebube Peace Foundation (PEPF) which
is a strictly not for profit organization with the sole intent of
touching lives and empowering people, mostly youths and children in
Africa.
"Ahead of World Humanitarian Day
on August 19, this song aims to increase public awareness about
humanitarian assistance activities worldwide and the importance of
international cooperation. Time is running out for the people
affected by different world challenges such as hunger, cholera,
epidemic, wars, hate, racism, xenophobia and other vices. 'One Love,
One World' will convince you to pause and reflect and not add to the
problems. The song helps to switch from this neo-liberalist society
which is destroying resources and social links, to new perspectives
to live a better future." says Psalm Ebube.
Produced by Mikkyme Joses, the song is
a clarion call to heal the world through love. "We need to tell
world leaders to act." Psalm urges music artistes and colleagues
to unite the world and inspire love through music.
