Ex-BBNaija housemates, Thin Tall Tony and Kemen, are making their debut in Nollywood. The housemates alongside stars like Tissan Bako of RayPower FM, IK, ex-Mr Nigeria Deji Bakare, Joy (Eastern Queen of Miss Tourism) as well as top models like Esther Berry, Hannah Stephen - Most Beautiful face in Nigeria are starring in the yet to be released star studded movie titled “Diary of a model"
The movie centers on the life and times of a model played by top video vixen, Esther Berry and it showcases the struggle, love and heartbreak she experienced as she embarked on a journey to find true bliss. The movie is aimed at highlighting the real lifestyle of celebrities as they struggle everyday to make ends meet. Dr. Joe Oki Odunmakin, Human Rights Activist and Founder, Women Arise was a special appearance in the movie which is directed by Deji Bakare, ex Mr Nigeria (2011) and C.E.O of Deji Bakare Talent Search.
Speaking about the movie, Deji said "This project has been in the pipeline for sometime now. Huge material and financial resources have been expended in making the movie meet with the high quality needs of both domestic and international viewers. I do not want to make movies that will be discarded on first view, but movies that would be continuously desired." he revealed.
He plans to also market the movie to francophone outlets as it's being subtitled in French.
"Diary of a model" premiers this July in cinemas across the country.
