A group, Goodtalk Nigeria, has given
thumbs up to the Muhammadu Buhari administration for its strides in
the fight against insurgency, the anti-corruption war, and restoring
peace and amity in the Niger Delta region.
Leading members of the group, including
Adeniyi Olabode and Patience Odey, Mr Otto Ikpe, National
Coordinator/Convener of Goodtalk Nigeria, said the country was
blessed to have a President "who walks his talk."
"He promised to fight insurgency,
he has done it, he pledged to fight corruption, he is doing it, and
peace is also being restored to the Niger Delta. All these are
reasons we are committed to talking good about our country. That is
why our name is Goodtalk Nigeria."
The group is planning a national summit
soon in Abuja.
Members of Goodtalk Nigeria did not
leave the State House until they had given an award to Mr Femi
Adesina, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to President Buhari.
They called it Award of Excellence "in recognition of your
selfless, reliable and competent service to Nigerians and Government
of Nigeria in the management and dissemination of information, to
preserve, deepen and sustain our democracy."
