After many years of infighting and
leadership tussle, the Nigerian Guild of Actors,AGN, is back on track
to reclaim its lost glory. The Emeka Rollas-led new AGN leadership,
hit the ground running on Friday, when they rolled out a new package
geared towards rebranding the once troubled guild.
Briefing the press about the rebranding
project at Sheraton hotel, Ikeja, Emeka Rollas, on Friday said the need to
brand AGN comes from a burden of the effects of the rancour and
disunity which has plagued the leadership and permeated the
membership of our noble guild in the past. At the event, which was
attended by top Nollywood stars, the guild's new logo and identity
card were unveiled to set a new record for AGN. Unveiled also were
the guild's new insurance policy, mobile App with payment
gateway/website and showcase its interactivity. It's a new dawn for
members of the guild.
