Nollywood star actress, Funke Akindele
Bello, popularly called Jenifa is set to debut in Hollywood as she's
billed to feature in a soon-to-be released Marvel movie, ‘Avengers:
Infinity War’.
The award-winning actress and producer
will be acting alongside Hollywood’s top actors, the likes of Chris
Hemsworth, Zoe Saldana amongst others.
She will play the role of a member of
the Black Panther’s guards, the Dora Milaje. The Dora Milaje are
superior women recruited from every tribe of the fictional Wakanda
who serve as the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther.
Set to premiere on the 4th
of May in the United States, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is an
American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the
Avengers. It is intended to be the sequel to 2012 Marvel's The
Avengers and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron and the nineteenth film
in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It is being directed by
Anthony and Joe Russo.
Funke has joined the list of Nollywood
acts including Omotola Jalade and Genevieve Nnaji who have acted in Hollywood movies.
