The management of Eko Electricity
Distribution Company on Monday said consumers with prepaid meters may
not be able to recharge their meters for more energy credit units for
some time.
Mr Godwin Idemudia, the General
Manager, Corporate Communications Unit of the company in a statement
said that this is due to some faults with the system.
He, however, said efforts were being
made to rectify the fault.
“We hereby wish to inform all our
highly esteemed customers, especially those with prepaid meters, that
due to some system fault, many customers may presently not be able to
recharge their meters for more energy credit units.
“As frantic efforts are being made to
rectify this fault and restore normal vending service within the
shortest possible time, we apologise for the inconveniences this may
have caused all concerned. Please bear with us.
“While appreciating your unfailing
co-operation and loyal patronage, we also assure all of our
commitment to continuous optimal service delivery and customer
satisfaction at times,” the statement read.
