From all indications, the social media is set to explode once again as one of Nigeria's most controversial artistes, Wizkid is right now in the middle of a fresh song theft scandal. Wizkid, who is reputed for his long list of controversies days back was in the news for all the wrong reasons when he allegedly punched one of his fans at a Lagos club. According to sources, Wizkid is currently enmeshed in a song theft drama that might further drag his name in the mud.
Recall that few days back, the self-acclaimed 'Baba NLA' dropped a single titled 'Medicine'. Unknown to many, the concept of the song was solely that of another promising Nigerian hip-hop sensation named Phlex. We gathered, Phlex first released the song titled Medicinal and soon followed it up with Medicinal 2.0 featuring Olamide.
According to insiders, Wizkid who is alleged to be running out of songs creatively jumped on Phlex to put out his own version of Medicine. They even further alleged that Wizkid's artwork shared same resemblance with that of Phlex. We gathered Phlex is out of the country presently, but information flittering out suggests his management may take Wizkid up on this alleged case of intellectual theft. As expected, we could not reach out to Wizkid as calls made to his mobile did not connect.
