The Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom, Osun State,
Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi Ilufemiloye, Telu 1 is a traditional
ruler with a large heart. The Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom has taken it upon
himself to organize a special prayer session for President Muhammadu
Buhari, and the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. And
many are commending the paramount ruler for this singular move to
seek the face of God. For Oba AbdulRasheed, the prayer session has
become imperative at this time in Nigeria to foster quick recovery of
the President, and plead God’s guidance in the governance of both
Nigeria and his home state, Osun. The special prayer session which is
also targeted at other National leaders and traditional rulers has
been scheduled to hold at the traditional ruler's palace, in Iwo, on
Thursday, August 24. While sons and daughters of Ayedire and
Ola-Oluwa LGAs are expected to be part of this 'royal prayer session'
for our leaders, those in the know said the King has promised to
provide buses to convey people to his palace.
