Maverick musician, Charly Boy has fired
back at former Niger Delta warlord, Asari Dokubo who slammed him for
joining ‘our mumu don do’ protest calling for resignation or
return of sick President Buhari.
In his Instagram posts, yesterday, the
Area Fada as he's fondly called by his fans said, “this fight is
for our survival, our children and our future,” adding that “God
will punish bad people.”
He insists that the struggle will
continue despite the odds. “Our fight must be coordinated
collectively and strategically because there shall be no going back
this time. We must rise to offer hope to quench the desperation in
the nation; we must rise to offer our voice in a country where there
is complete silence; we must rise to shine the light in this absolute
darkness in which we live. The only way to get a better Nigeria that
works for all of us is for us to stand and fight against the
miscreants who has turned our fatherland into hell for us,” he
wrote.
Charly Boy's outburst came less than a
day after the former Niger Delta warlord, Asari Dokubo released a
video where he slammed the veteran musician for joining ‘our mumu
don do’ protest calling for resignation or return of sick President
Buhari.
According to Dokubo, Charly Boy is 2-3
years close to 70, but his brain has been hijacked.
