PDP chairman, Ahmed Makarfi was
involved in a car accident today, July 28, 2017.
The vehicle conveying the former
governor of Kaduna State reportedly had a clash with other vehicles
along Abuja-Kaduna Highway.
Dayo Adeyeye, who’s the spokesperson
Peoples Democratic Party said in a statement that Makarfi and other
passengers involved in the accident came out unhurt.
“This is to allay the fears of our
Party members, teeming supporters and well wishers who heard of the
accident and have been making frantic calls; as well as those who may
stumble on half-baked information,” Adeyeye said.
The Supreme Court of Nigeria recently
declared Ahmed Makarfi as the National Leader of the People’s
Democratic Party (PDP).
