Recession! MTN terminates popular TV show,'Who wants to be a millionnaire”


Popular and most watched Nigerian game TV show, 'Who wants to be a millionnaire' anchored by Frank Edoho has been terminated by multinational mobile telecommunications company,MTN.
The show which has been running on Nigerian TV stations  since October 8, 2004, has produced a lot of millionnaires like Osazuwa Osahon Daniels – 5 million Naira (Year 2009),Aroma Ufodike Chimuanya – 10 million Naira (Year 2009),Babatunde Oni Oladipo – 5 million Naira (Year 2010),Nnaemeka Ubaekwena – 5 million Naira (Year 2012) among others.
It has really blessed a lot of lives that every one looks forward to the next episode.
Well the show host, Frank Edoho confirmed the report as he tweeted; “Sadly,we are going on a break cos our sponsor pulled out.But we thank@mtnng for being with us all these years,please thank them for us”
Although the app version of the show will continue to run, a lot of fans are not happy that the show would finally  be off the screen.
