Although she's not an A-list actress,
Mirabel Etuk is steadily building a profile that will definitely earn
her an enviable place in the Nigerian movie industry.
Currently working on a new project
after the fascinating role she played in ‘Ghetto Pikin,’ which is
due to hit the movie shelves any moment from now, the
fair-complexioned actress has busy working back to back on five
blockbuster movies.
Pretty Etuk who started her acting
career in 2009,before she disappeared into thin air and returned
again in 2015, has a couple of Nollywood finest as her role models.
They include, Sir John Okafor (Mr Ibu), Liz Benson, Genevieve Nnaji,
Nse Ikpe Etim amongst others.
On her impression about Nollywood, Etuk
said: “Nollywood is growing in leaps and bounds. It's just a
matter of time, we will get there. However, Nigerians should learn to
appreciate our own because we put in a lot of efforts into what we
do. The truth is that it is not easy to bring happiness to many homes
in the country with our movies. Seriously, it takes a lot to produce
a movie, and we deserve the best accolades.”
