Models Are Not Prostitutes’ series set to hit the screens

A series based on the ill treatment of models in Africa, ‘Models Are Not Prostitutes,’ will hit the screen soon.
Speaking during the unveiling of the winners of Models On The Island (MOTI) Season 3, one of the organizers, Emmanuel Etim, revealed that as part of the campaign, a movie ‘Models Are Not Prostitutes,’ would soon be released into the market.
“The movie is titled ‘Models Are Not Prostitutes’ and it will be released as a series to enlighten models and make them know their stand. We’ve shot our first five episodes and we're working episodes. It would be a continuous project to ensure that people all over the world know that models are different from prostitutes’
Etim said that this year’s MOTI contest was highly competitive than the previous editions. “This year’s contest was wonderful. One hundred and twenty persons applied, forty persons were evicted and eighty persons made it to the camp. This platform is for youths to develop themselves.”
The newly crowned MOTI’s queen, Joy Oyakhiomen, revealed that she would be focusing on widows who can’t afford three square meals daily.
‘I plan to do a project for the widows. I would like to introduce a skill acquisition programme where they can learn hairdressing, fashion designing,make-up among others. After a period of six months, we will provide funds for them to set up their own businesses so that they would be able to cater for their families’, she said. On his part, the newly crowned king, Kenneth Chukwu, advised upcoming models to remain focused in spite of the challenges they encounter. He described the experience in the camp as tasking, insisting he had to do a lot of things that he was not used to.
