MASSOB: Kanu’s release step towards Biafra’s actualisation




Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra,MASSOB,has described the release of founder of Radio Biafra and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kuje Prisons as a stepping progress towards Biafra actualisation and triumph of light over darkness.
According to statement issued in Abakaliki by its leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, no amount of intimidation, harassment and incarceration by the Federal Government and security agents would stop Biafra’s actualisation.
It expressed happiness over Kanu’s release, saying that his release has opened a new dimension for the Biafran struggle which must continue to be non-violent, mutual understanding and unity of purpose.
“The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) expresses gladness over the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from prison Friday.
We rejoice with millions of Biafrans all over the world; it is a stepping progress towards Biafra actualisation and restoration. It is a triumph of light over darkness.
“His release has opened a new dimension to Biafra’s struggle which must continue to be anchored on non-violence, mutual understanding and unity of purpose.
As Nnamdi Kanu regained freedom, MASSOB will continue with other progressive groups and individuals to press further for the release of other pro Biafra detainees across Nigerian prisons.
“MASSOB as the most prominent pro Biafra group that supports Mazi Nnamdi Kanu believe that there are credible Igbo senators and Jewish religious leaders who can stand him.
“MASSOB salutes and hails the oneness of unifying forces of Igbo senators led by Ike Ekweremadu and Enyinnaya Abaribe with the backup of Igbo governors and other prominent Nigerians in their swift response in perfecting his bail conditions.
