Court adjourns case between Omoni Oboli and Jude Idada



The ongoing copyright infringement legal battle between Omoni Oboli and Jude Idada reportedly has been further adjourned to a new date.
On Tuesday, April 4, Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court Ikoyi, adjourned the next hearing for the case between Raconteur Productions and Omoni Oboli’s Dioni Visions to May 17, 2017.
On April 3 and April 4, Chioma Onyewe and Jude Idada made an appearance on the witness stand for the plaintiff. All this happens after the Court on Thursday, March 30, 2017, granted Omoni Oboli go ahead to release Okafor’s Law in cinemas on Friday, March 31.
During the first and second hearing of the case, Oboli was represented by the production manager of Dioni Visions, Tomi Adeoye.
Oboli, who was absent during the first and second hearing of the case, made her first appearance in court on Monday, April 3.
She was accompanied by Nollywood veteran, Zeb Ejiro, who came along to offer his support.
