Veteran actor Pete Edochie turned 70 today(Tuesday), and many of his fans took to his Facebook page to shower encomiums on the man who he came into prominence after playing Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all-time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart. A seasoned administrator and broadcaster has sojourned in the movie industry for more than four decades, doing what he knows how to do best. He has never looked back since he debuted in the industry.
One of his sons, Yul, who took after him, was one of the early birds who showered praises on teh celebrator.
He wrote on his father's facebook page, " Happy 70th birthday to my father, Chief Pete Edochie. I thank God for your life and I pray you see many more great years. God be with you always Dad!"
